  • Review of "Ridgemoor" at Kirkwood

    Slumlords of 5825 Southwest Ave, the neighborhood eyesore. The owner never visits. They have the so-called maintenance man meet with you to sign the lease!! Potholes, dim hallways, ancient (original) 1970's interiors complete with shag carpet in the closets and brown carpet in the rooms. Tenants poorly screened, notes constantly tacked up by maintenance man to keep arguments to a minimum so neighbors don't have to hear. Maintenance man disappears for a week or two later after promise of repair. Ducks when he sees you to avoid doing work. There is zero management of this place. Of course they care more about their "preferred investors" than their tenants. They think because the people who live here are of a lower socioeconomic status they can give them substandard housing. I challenge the owner to reply so I can post the embarassing pictures of this apartment for all to see. It is not my job to constantly follow up on their "maintenance man." They have no desire to put money into this place.

    This bank is horrible absolutely horrible! Nothing is up to date or accurate. The app, online portal, automatic verification, and the representatives can never give the correct information. They all say you have no pending transactionso but then 4 days later they cHargett you almost 200 dollars for the transactions that everything has said was cleared. Including the people on the phone and at the branch! DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT OPEN AN ACCOUNT WITH THEM! it's not worth the hassle! They take people's money after they lie to them about their transactions. Then when you call to figure out why they talk to you like your stupid! So if you want a problem everytime you go or use your account, and you want to just throw money away to the bank then yes open an account with Academy Bank!
