  I haven't moved in yet, but the staff at Kirkwood Station Plaza has already made me feel at home. Very responsive to questions and concerns as I coordinate a move from another state. Can't wait to get moved!

  Pros: -Kirkwood is cute, generally safe, and very walkable -Easy access to 44, 270, and 40 -Newer carpet and paint in most units -Smoke free (big plus!) -Somewhat covered parking Cons: -Cheaply built: fixtures will break so easily it's unbelievable. Our faucet handles will come off in our hands, this goes for cabinets as well. The paint is nice until you barely touch it and the paint will come off. I have honestly never seen anything like it and I am a long time renter in both St. Louis and previous cities I have lived in. -Cheaply built: your pipes will freeze unless you jack your heat up pretty high in the winter, this is weird considering the age of the building (barely a decade old). This is not disclosed prior to leasing. -Your energy bills are going to be higher than you expect (see above) in the winter, despite what management will tell you. -The parking garage can only loosely be called a garage as it leaks year round. You will have stains on your car that you will have to clean. The management is well aware of this issue as they send out notices advising of the 'best' cleaning solution to make to clean your car because of the leaking. No, they did not tell us this before we moved in.
